FEED POSITIVITY/ ALIMENTA LA POSITIVIDAD

Before I start, I'd like to tell you a story ...

 A venerable old man from an Indian tribe explains to his grandson what life is like:

- In each of us, there are two wolves that are always fighting: one is the wolf of hatred, pessimism and selfishness; the other is that of love, optimism and generosity.

- And which one will win? - The grandson asked him.

-The one you feed. -Answered the old man.


Dear students ... Let me tell you, it is our attention that decides what enters our consciousness. It is something similar to choosing the television program we want to watch: our attention decides the content of our consciousness. Now, the content of our consciousness determines our well-being.
What chain do you want to tune in to? The one of misfortunes, catastrophes and dramas? Or the beauty and the wonders that come to pass every day?
What's your choice?
What wolf do you want to feed?

But ... What color is the world? Is it pink or rather dark gray? To know it, nothing better than an experience. And there goes the activity of the week:
Take a newspaper or magazine that you have at home. Take a red and a green pen. Carefully read all the headlines and underline in green the headlines that you consider positive, and in red the negative ones. Then, count and record the result obtained.
After doing this exercise, it turns out that the color balance is balanced: there are almost as many positive as negative information!


 The world is as colorful as the rainbow!


In this second part of the exercise, pick up a newspaper and cut only the news that seems positive to you. You can also write articles about the last year, as a journalist, only with positive information.
 Now you have in your hands another image of the world, neither truer nor more false, but different.
The professional journalist does it in the same way: he selects the information among an avalanche of press releases and only keeps those that seem important to him, and especially those that will sell him more copies! 
Dearest student, remember ...

LIFE IS NOT PINK OR GRAY, IT IS MULTICOLOR.

IT IS OUR EYES THAT STOP, IN THE BEAUTIFUL OR IN THE UGLY, IN THE POSITIVE OR IN THE NEGATIVE.

Antes de comenzar, me gustaría contarte una historia...


Un venerable anciano de una tribu india le explica a su nieto cómo es la vida:

- En cada uno de nosotros, hay dos lobos que siempre están luchando: uno es el lobo del odio, el pesimismo y el egoísmo; el otro es el del amor, el optimismo y la generosidad.

-¿Y cuál ganará? - Le preguntó el nieto.

-El que tú alimentes. -Respondió el anciano.


Queridos alumnos... Dejadme contaros, que es nuestra atención lo que decide qué entra en nuestra conciencia. Es algo parecido a elegir el programa de televisión que queremos ver: nuestra atención decide el contenido de nuestra conciencia. Ahora bien, el contenido de nuestra conciencia determina nuestro bienestar.

¿Qué cadena quieres sintonizar? ¿La de las desgracias, las catástrofes y lo dramas? ¿O la de la belleza y las maravillas que salen al paso todos los días?
¿Cuál es tu elección?
¿A qué lobo quieres alimentar?

Pero... ¿De qué color es el mundo en realidad? ¿Es rosa o más bien gris oscuro? Para saberlo, nada mejor que una experiencia. Y ahí va la actividad de la semana:


Coge un periódico o revista que tengas por casa. Coge un bolígrafo rojo y otro verde. Lee atentamente todos los titulares y subraya en verde los titulares que consideres positivos, y en rojo los negativos. Después, haz el recuento y apunta el resultado obtenido.


Después de hacer este ejercicio, resulta que la balanza de colores se equilibra: ¡hay casi tantas informaciones positivas como negativas!



¡El mundo tiene tantos colores como el arcoíris!


En esta segunda parte del ejercicio, coge un periódico y recorta únicamente las noticias que te parecen positivas. También puedes redactar tú mismo, como periodista, artículos sobre el último año, solo con informaciones positivas.

Ahora tienes en tus manos otra imagen del mundo, ni mas verdadera ni más falsa, sino diferente.


El periodista profesional procede de igual manera: selecciona las informaciones entre una avalancha de notas de prensa y tan solo se queda con aquellas que le parecen importantes, ¡y sobre todo con las que le van a vender más ejemplares!

GAME 5 - PICTIONARY

Pictionary is a fun game that requires one player to draw an image indicating the word, where the other player has to guess it correctly.
You need:
- Paper or board
- Pencil or marker

Let's play! Write down different words on pieces of paper and drop them in the bowl. Ask your child to pick up the pieces and draw it on the board without telling you what it is. Alternately, you can draw, and he can guess. You can make this game more fun by having groups and competing against each other.

5th and 6th: LESSON 2 - VOCABULARY

I’m very happy to "see" you today. How are you? 
Today, you are going to play a game with your family. 
You will need:
- One dice
- Take a look at the vocabulary before staring
Let’s play! (Close the notebook before starting the game)
  1. Make groups.
  2. Roll the dice.
  3. The number you get says what you have to do (look down).
  4. If your group guess the word, you win 1 point.
  5. After using all the words, the team with most points, wins.

1.     Make groups.
2.     A person imitates an animal and the people on the same team have to guess which animal it is.
3. Each turn your team plays, change the person in charge of imitating.
4. Finally, the team that has guessed the most animals, wins.

Here you have some animals. Take the ideas you need.

GAME 4 - CONSEQUENCES

To play this game, you will need:
- A piece of paper
- Colors
- Imagination
- 2 or more people

Before starting, you must agree on what you are going to draw: a person, a vehicle a building, a monster...
Let's do it!
1. Fold a piece of paper in 4 or 6 parts. Each person must draw their part of what they had decided to do. Avoid letting others see what you are drawing.
2. Draw on the top of the paper and fold it. Show a couple of lines so that the person following you, knows how to continue the drawing.
3. Each one must draw his part of the object.
4. When you unfold the paper, you will be amazed with the results!

Now, translate the words. 

Draw a picture of your favourite singer on the stage on you notebook. Use some words from the vocabulary to build the perfect concert (words on the left).

Vamos a hacer una actividad para sentirnos mejor...
Usaremos el arte para calmar esa ansiedad y preocupación que hoy en día nos invade...
Necesitarás:
- Papel
-Algunos colores

¡Manos a la obra!
Haz un círculo. No tiene que ser perfecto.... Ahora, imagina que lo que estás sintiendo está dentro de ese círculo... Dibújalo. ¿Cómo sería? Recuerda que no hay una manera correcta de hacer esto... Solo dibuja lo que sientes... Céntrate en el proceso de expresar tus sentimientos... Libera todos los problemas... Cuando acabes, dale la vuelta a la hoja y responde:
- ¿Qué ves en esta imagen?
- ¿Qué está tratando de decirte?
-¿Qué haría que esta imagen se sintiera un poco mejor?

WELCOME SPRING!!

Hello my friends!!! 😀 How are you????
The spring has started!! What happens when the spring comes?





Now that we are at home... Let's become gardeners! Do you know how to sprout lentils?
You will need:
- A napkin
- Water
- Lentils (8 or 10)
- A glass jar 
Let's do this!
1. Put the napkin inside the glass jar, and introduce the lentils.
2. Put some water inside the jar. It has to be wet, but not full of water.

Hello families!!
I just wanted to check in with all my students and their families. I hope you are okay as well. I know we are at home only one week, but I already miss everyone so much! There are a lot of uncertainties and that can be scary and overwhelming, so I just want you to know that I'm here to help and answer all your school questions that I can. Distance learning has started and for almost everyone, is the first time we do this. Whatever it is, I know we will all work together to get through this.

Solo quería haceros saber que estoy bien, y espero que vosotros también lo estéis. Sé que solo estamos en casa una semana, pero ya os echo mucho de menos a todos! Hay muchas incertidumbres ahora mismo, y eso puede ser aterrador y abrumador, así que quiero que sepáis que estoy aquí para ayudar y contestar las preguntas del cole que pueda. La enseñanza a distancia ha empezado y para casi todos, es la primera vez que hacemos esto. De todas maneras, sé que trabajaremos juntos para superar esto.

GAME 1




Hello my friends! I'm very happy to see you today! How are you? Are you bored? Let's play "The Spyglass":
You will need:
-  1 Kitchen roll
LET'S PLAY!
1. All participants sit in a circle. The one who starts the game must say his name and the first thing he will do when the quarantine is over. 
2. At the same time that he says that, he looks through the spyglass and passes it to the next one, who has to say his name, his plan and those of everyone who has had the spyglass before, looking at them through the spyglass according to the name. 
3. The last ones will have to remember more names and more plans. Every time someone fails, the game will start from him again, until the chain has run the entire circle.
